Welcome

Zoe Leavitt has been practicing psychology since 1999 and works from within a person centred therapeutic framework. This incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Process Experiential Emotion Focused Therapy (PEEFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.

Zoe works principally with an insight-based approach to counselling which enables deeper and more lasting personal change. This involves assisting individuals to develop a personal awareness of their own psychological process. She also incorporates specific psychological strategies to assist in developing psychological health.

She uses a multi-layered approach to helping individuals -  building a solid therapeutic relationship, teaching behavioural strategies such as mindfulness techniques and breathing and at times, utilising Clinical Hypnosis.
